Summary
Arming the function with Analytics as a Service to use data driven insights for decision making using the standardized KPI framework leveraging the decision support systems like SENSE,FPO etc.
Advancing automation & usage of data science tools and technologies to enable faster decision making to reduce cycle time by 50%, maintaining high levels of quality and integrity. The Business Analytics Associate Director will assess the portfolio of analytical solutions and give recommendations for their improvement and usage to the Global Line Functions. Brings a best practice industry agnostic analytics perspective challenging the status quo while maintaining a strong partnership with the business stakeholders.
• Assess the analytical needs of the business drive the Business Intelligence Strategy for the functions in alignment with the GCO strategy.
• Driving the roadmaps of the decision support products'/systems.
• Articulating a data driven approach to monitor, track performance and influence outcomes that impact the objectives of doubling the speed of clinical trial delivery, at lower cost to the organization at the highest level of quality.
About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Responsible to drive data driven analytics on the core principles of speed and quality
- Act as the single point of contact for the global line function(PSP, SSO, PTC. VPG, Risk and Resilience etc.) assigned providing a customer-focused experience (SPoC) measured by excellent customer satisfaction and enablement of superior business performance.
- On-demand analytics and professional ad hoc reporting services
- Proactively raises alerts based on data driven analysis to identify and highlight trends and patterns
- Ensure standardized definitions and usage of KPIs and metrics for analytical recommendations
- External Benchmarking & insights based on Competitive Intelligence to measure the GCO performance and give inputs for the GCO strategy.
Key performance indicators:
- Adoption of metrics and KPIs in decisions making
- Turnaround time for analytics deliverables and insights
- User Satisfaction: Net Promoter Score, CSAT
- Value of analytical recommendations translated into initiatives for GDO based on performance in cycle time, quality and cost/productivity.
Minimum Requirements:
Post Graduate/Masters in any discipline preferably in Life Sciences domain
Work Experience:
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience in analytics delivery
- Broad understanding of drug development – early development, clinical trials, safety, data management, etc.
- Strategic thinker with proven track record in translating business objectives into analytical recommendations, key performance indicators and lead indicators
- Strong in application of data science approaches to business problems and tools and technologies using machine learning and artificial intelligence e.g, Python, R, Power BI, Big Data technologies, AWS, Azure etc.
- Proven track record in analytics solutions for a variety of problem statements, using best of breed approaches in data science
- Ability to influence without authority and successfully manage senior level stakeholders
- Excellent oral/written communication skills - allowing effective interactions with all levels of the organization; able to present information confidently and effectively to leadership, peers and team
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Well organized and results-focused - ability to meet difficult timelines in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated unwillingness to accept the status quo
